The Georgia Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) was formally recognized at the Georgia State Capitol during its annual NOBLE Day at the Capitol, highlighting the organization’s longstanding commitment to public safety leadership, community engagement, and advocacy across the state.
Members of the Georgia Chapter were honored from the floor of the Georgia House of Representatives following the adoption of House Resolution 1423, sponsored by State Representative Yasmin Neal. The resolution commends the Georgia Chapter of NOBLE for its impact and recognizes March 18, 2026, as Georgia Chapter of NOBLE Day at the Capitol, while also celebrating the organization’s 50th Anniversary of service and leadership nationwide.
More than 30 chapter members were in attendance, representing law enforcement leaders from across Georgia. The day provided an opportunity for direct engagement with state legislators, important dialogue on public safety priorities, and continued collaboration between law enforcement and policymakers.
“We are honored to be recognized by the Georgia House for the work our members are doing every day to strengthen trust, lead with integrity, and serve our communities,” said Chapter President Natalie Ammons. “This moment reflects not just our history, but our continued commitment to leadership and impact across Georgia.”
The Georgia Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to Representative Yasmin Neal for her leadership in sponsoring the resolution, as well as to the many legislators who supported and signed on in recognition of NOBLE’s mission.
NOBLE Day at the Capitol also served as a moment of fellowship among members and an opportunity to reinforce the organization’s role as a trusted voice in advancing equitable and effective public safety strategies.
As the organization celebrates its 50th anniversary, the Georgia Chapter is participating in “50 Days of NOBLE,” a series of initiatives and engagements held across the southeast designed to highlight its legacy of excellence, advocacy, and community service while continuing to invest in the future of law enforcement leadership.
